That’s just such a dumb lie, too.
Obviously lying to get TS (or anything, but TS is particularly violating) is bad, but like… just wait two weeks my dude, it’s not hard.
-
Yeah, like, of all the assumptions I made when this peeve was posted, ‘couldn’t wait 14 days for TS’ wasn’t on the Bingo card.
There are so many horny mofos out there who aren’t on games for any other reason, I get that.
I’m somewhat baffled they don’t just go to sex games or Gdoc porn with a friend but…idk I am not an expert in these things.
-
@Pavel I have to disagree.
It sounds like it was very hard indeed.
-
I assume in this case sheets are hidden from other players, so the other party can’t ascertain whether they’re breaking the policy? Or is there something I’m missing?

The last thing I want is Google giving me an AI summary of my TS.
-
@Yam tbh, I can see not knowing whether someone “new” has been playing for two weeks or even a month. I barely perceive the passage of time in real life, let alone pretend life. Characters are created and idle reaped all in darkness.
-
@Pavel I shuddered IRL.

I think if enough of us dedicate ourselves enough, we could finally break AI for good.

it’s super sketch and not okay to lie about anything to get TS
but simultaneously

There is a prohibition on relationship roleplay with characters that have been in the game for less than two weeks. The rule applies even to returning players playing a new character.
this is a weird rule for a game to have

I suppose it might make sense on a game where new characters explicitly can’t have known each other previously… but I imagine it’s more likely a case of a staffer with more than a few bad experiences crying “enough is enough.”
