Since Derp and Ghost keep bringing it up, I’ll repeat a point I’ve made before:

People are going to keep talking about the community being hijacked, because at the end of the day, before any of this happened, any of YOU who feel the need to talk about bullies being mean - YOU could have made your own board, and made it however you wanted.

Instead, you decided to change the rules of the board we were all on and throw anyone who disagreed out. Which is the root of it all. And you know it. Because you keep bringing up how we went somewhere else and made the rules we wanted.

And it’s pretty fucked up how you keep rewriting history to justify the decision.

Another person banned for person attacks, despite making fewer personal attacks than Ghost. Maybe it was the big words?

Of course, they had to ban @Kestrel. You showed up with receipts about their hypocrisy. 12/10. Would also upvote if I could.

@MisterBoring Overly complicated is fine, my issue was more the huge disparity between your Solar Tier and your Terrestrial Tier, which Essence does a pretty good job of closing down a bit.

So there is this program called MegaMek where you can do Battletech fights, and the people who maintain it are also working on a browser version that can maybe possibly be linked to either MU-side tracker of who owns what, or possibly to one of their other programs, MekHQ, that also tracks repair time and NPC/Characters who work on what, it’s fine.

So with all of that in mind, of course my brain skips away from Battletech back towards the less crunchy/more narrative Exalted: Essence rules (further complicated because the Infernals Kickstarter is starting up in a few days).

L5R is still on the list somewhere, the three are fighting for attention pretty regularly now, so for now I just poke at Ares code to try and make it go.

@Superbia I don’t recognize the username, and basic attempts to check their post history did not work, so shrug

Anyway, stop making me want to run [Assorted] space game. Instead pick from the list and I will silently cheer from the sidelines and/or offer to halp with +jobwork.

This is fair, but also… incredibly easy to shift to nWoD/CoD. It’s very wibbly wobbly. Something something someone fed the God Machine ChatGPT code tried to get the God Machine to divide by Zero, and reality is now extremely fucked up. Ancient Blood Rites for Vampires still valid, Incarna still valid for Shifters, replace Horizon Realms with something something Atlantis Supernal Realm, Fae… I want to somehow merge Dreaming and Lost, because ‘everyone is dealing with PTSD and your memory is fake’ isn’t… the best for everyone?

Also also, we wrote the original idea before Mummy the Curse, so that’s probably a factor why it is mostly oWoD coded.
