Shadowrun Denver has a great thing on the game itself: +document/find. It searches every +help or +policy file on the game, and in the past people have passive aggressively answered questions with ‘+document/find [word]’.
Sure is a shame about the other bits.

Make it even more passive aggressive and have it lock out all other commands until they type the exact command required to answer the question. So everytime they type anything, the game just responds with something like “Have you tried +help +desc yet?”.

@MisterBoring Either that or the game just produces the generic “Huh?” ‘I don’t understand’ message until you type it out.

I work somewhere that has the oddest files and search for work policies and forms they want. I stand beside the fact that I can search them and find them the quickest in the company is because of playing on games and looking for help files.

Y’all can come at me if you want and I’m okay with it. However, there are reasons that I’m not willing to commit to relationship RP and if I do commit to it, I have an OOC discussion of things I would like to avoid. I didn’t live on this planet this long without some baggage and I like to keep it out of my fun hobby time. I also respect that others want to play that out, so there is never a bad thing if people don’t want the same.
That said. I get that this can happen.

Some people get so invested that it’s scary and I prefer to avoid that.

It feels even worse, for me, when someone oversteps something that I didn’t know was a boundary until after they stepped over. So you feel, in a way, violated but you also know that you can’t really be angry at them—you didn’t know, they didn’t know.

what’s fun is when you overstep your own boundary without realizing it and hurt your own feelings minutes later.
