            One of the most influential and underrated thinkers of our time. 😞 I always link this short opinion piece of his from +20 years ago, still relevant today as we continue to learn more about animal sentience and linguistics.               @Gashlycrumb I showed my husband the series The Human Animal last year and it took me back to when I watched it during the original US broadcast. I had to sneak watching it because my religious household forbade secular television, and looking back I’m pretty sure it is part of what helped me eventually break the spell of religion and find peace with a scientific world view. Thanks for everything, Desmond.
