My tell is probably making fun of myself and my characters in my own poses.

This might be why I’m having a hard time RPing lately.

So here are some of mine, now that I’ve had time to think on the question:

• Redundancy in words (using them multiple times in the same sentence), typically terms like “also”, “however”, “yet”. “Yet he didn’t blah blah blah yet.”
• I tend to insert dialogue even for characters that are more taciturn by nature. It’s like I can’t get my own characters to shut up, or that a pose (usually) feels incomplete without some form of dialogue.
• OOC Obsessing over specific thoughts or ideas out loud to the point it’s like that therapy scene in Death Becomes Her when the other members start freaking out. I get very attached to some ideas sometimes and it’s extremely difficult to walk away from them.
