Also, re: fascists in gaming, my “favorite” places to run into nazis are online survival games, because they always, always, always fully and firmly believe that they’re top skilled and will naturally dominate everyone else.
Then they name themselves Hitler88, stick a sign outside their base with a poorly drawn swastika, and express confusion and dismay when the rest of the server races to see who gets to burn their place down and take all their stuff.

Yo, Ghost, the answer to your question is dead easy:
It’s because you keep lying. Quit lying about the reason for the bannings and the people that were banned. Quit using them as scapegoats. Quit attacking them. Else quit whining about people wanting to defend themselves and/or their friends and/or just general injustice on the board where they keep being attacked, in a thread where you said they should be culled from the MU-ing community, and where folks continuously keep doing the same. Also laffo at you complaining about people trying to skirt under the rules.
Same to you, Derp. That’s the answer to your question as well. You want folks to calm down about this, quit doing that shit.
People are pissed, boohoo. They’ve a right to be. What happened was bullshit. But you’re not banned from this board. Any of you can come to defend yourselves (well, maybe not any of you, but I’m not a mod). The folks here can’t do the same, so if you follow the spirit of your own damn rules, I guarantee the urge to go argue will die down a lot faster than it has been, and with a lot less ill feeling (though still quite a bit of ill feeling).

tbh I’m amazed at the fortitude anyone has to read Ghost’s giant long posts. I hear them referenced and I go to look because I’m curious and I usually get a couple of lines in and I’m like
“Here’s a well-spoken and well-crafted argument” … proceeds to word vomit across the board nonsensically while skirting along the “very clear” rules in order to attack - but not PERSONALLY!!! attack - people who cannot defend themselves because they are banned.
You know what it would take to repair the community? Nothing. The community isn’t broken, MSB is.

I haven’t gone over to read, but I just get this picture of this person feeling so BADASS after attacking people who are literally banned from replying and defending themselves. Like some monster proud toddler who kicks over the playground blocks when everyone is already inside from recess.

Devrex, my dude. MSB goes dark and nobody posts anything in the thread for days. Like the whole forum shuts down. And then Ghost or someone has to chime in and lie about something or, as you say, poke poke poke poke poke until someone who still has faith in MSB logs on to defend against lies or
obviously personalvague attacks.If you want PEACE AND QUIET, you need to look to the people still there whomst are allowed to continually break the rules with no consequences.

I promise, Devrex, I would also like people to stop going over there to name call. If you think that’s what I was doing when I posted for a while-- I wasn’t. Give me some good faith. I was pointing out one thing that I thought was unfair and egregious.
But basically, both boards are doing the same thing at this point. Vague ‘look at them, eating crackers!’ posts, because honestly, we are still one community and this schism is silly and makes me sad.
so us posting on here about you guys posting about us on there-- yeah, that’s gonna happen. I wish people would stop posting on there, though, too.
but, i didn’t go post because i was ‘bored’. i posted because i really thought my point could be acknowledged about how stupid Narson’s banning was, but scar getting unbanned, etc, and how arbitrary this shit was.
