What I do is to write out my most commonly used spells beforehand and work everything out while I have free time. Then I can copy and paste when needed and modify as necessary. It really helps to learn it.

I’m one of those damaged souls that played so much OWoD Mage that I’ve historically approached NWoD Mage with absolute bafflement. It’s supposed to be more streamlined (and I’ll admit, it seems so), but I never got the feel for it.

@Cobalt I feel that way about character descs. I write them but then I see others’ descs and think “why can’t I write like that??” I end up just listing my character’s features in the end and hope to get by.
