Your Latest Batch of (Silly) Drama
-
So despite knowing better, I still glance in on the Soapbox every now and then. Three months.
It took three months for a bot ban and people finding out about Curseborne/WoD 3.875, to breath the smollest bit of life back into the Soapbox. Pretty dead before that, too.
And that was what I was vaguebooking about, because I knew the moment I pointed it out, lurkers would spring to activity just to prove that they didn’t kill the community, doing a Weekend at Bernie’s to prove the corpse is still alive, actually.
Anyways, have that small bit of funny during these trying times.
-
@Jennkryst I really don’t think we need random updates about lack of activity on another board. I think plenty of folks knew what you were vaguebooking about, it’s just not fun or interesting to linger on it.

@Jennkryst As the creator of this thread about SILLY drama, this post is worth five downvotes to you, and an injunction of all Mummy discussions lasting for a duration of 1e-5 seconds. It’ll be over before you know it.
Getting back on topic, the latest silly drama I know about is telling people on a MU* I have been possessed by my fictitious cat. Reasoning as given: “No no. I am more than okay to identify as a cat. I would get pampered, naptime whenever I want, the bed and every other thing in the living space would be mine, and I wouldn’t ever need to worry about money.”
Discuss.

@dvoraen Housecat life is the best life. That is all.
-
… that @hellfrog is going to rebrand and become @hellofrog. Think Hello Kitty, but amphibious.
News at 11.

@dvoraen KeroKero
-
@Tez I have questions about what your side jobs are:
YouTube ratted you out.
-
@dvoraen I sell it on Temu, run by my cat, Temu.

You should name your next cat Ekko, because of this ad.

Really old drama.
I almost put this in the “Good Things” thread just as an example of things I’m so glad we decided as a group to stop doing.

14 general questions, then 33 questions on the gold application and 26 for bronze.
Question 24 on the gold application is amazing.
- During your first hatching that you’re running as a Junior, you hear on the grapevine that your Weyrleader is flirting with prospective candidates and promising them search and/or impression on acceptance of TS. Your Weyrwoman is his RL wife, and has no idea any of this is going on, and in fact, you know, told him on a number of occasions not to TS. What do you do?
-
@KarmaBum WHAT WAS THE RIGHT ANSWER?
-
@Tez It’s a Pern game. You’re probably already TSing both husband and wife without either knowing, so you talk to the staffer you’re also TSing about it and watch the marriage implode. Obviously.
-
@Pavel Nah, gotta ask if they saw you across the
barMU and really dig your vibe. -
@Tez Allow me to quote @Snackness:
“Leave.”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen vaguebooking in the form of an application question before.

ELI5. In a silly-drama way, to stay on topic.

@KarmaBum
This is insane. -

Allow me to translate:
“My husband lies to my face about whipping his imaginary dick out after I’ve repeatedly asked him not to. You’re gonna tell me if he does it again, right? RIGHT?!?”
Cause it’s always super fun when your RP inadvertently sticks you in the middle of a real life couple and their drama.
