An Arx Peeve Thread

The most recent banning post made me laugh and had me thinking about all the banning posts that are formatted “Don’t X. Don’t Y. Don’t Z.” Like staff just demoralized and constantly adding new rules to the bottom of a list of rules that shouldn’t need to exist. So I wanted to see the whole list. So I combed through every banning post for any thing that was in the “don’t do X” format.

@farfalla The only one I think you might have missed was ‘don’t send unsolicited dick pics to other players’. But otherwise, well done. Just need to add this list to the rules, since ‘don’t be an asshole’ seems to be up to interpretation for some people.

There were definitely a lot of things that I didn’t include because they weren’t in the Do Not format, like from the one @Whisky linked:’ “Ur really pretty send nudes plz?” isn’t ok on any platform.’

14 is my favorite, because 10 billion is a LOT of people who immediately just cannot. I like to think I only cause 9 billion people to do that.

Yes. Usually as soon someone says this, my mental response is “Cool, cool, adding you to the list of Absolutely Batshit and Probably Not in the Good Way.”
