okay so discord has been gaslighting me as i tried to find the convo where the story of @bear_necessities’ screenshot was passed onto me, and thundergulch’s site is gone now and isn’t accessible via the wayback machine as a personal attack on me.
but. wasn’t it you?? wasn’t BN’s screenshot from one of your logs?? i remember finding the log at the time and seeing it live. (because, i mean, it was the type of thing to put in a log that gets passed around for people to boggle at, sorry.) and my memory is pretty good and i s2g it was you

Now I want to add solicitation-friendly disclaimers at the end of the log to all my scenes regardless of veracity because I’m sick like that.

I wonder which I would judge myself less for: stealing a celebrity’s image to use as a PB, or using an AI-generated image that I can be pretty confident stole its contents from some artist’s work.

Why choose? I recommend feeding a celebrity name into it too so you get a bit of everything.

I’m tempted to go full circle and not use a PB at all, in future.

@GF If the way most image models are trained bothers you, get Adobe Firefly or another generative image AI that uses fully licensed source materials.

My still-favorite: People who choose a PB and then for some reason make them like half a foot over or under their actual height (which usually results in all the men being 6’4" and all the women being 5’2").
I’m still waiting for my big strapping Danny DeVito lumberjack. Maybe I just need to do this myself.
