I don’t understand why this was posted again, someone explain.
It was an attempt to shame the other player, at my guess, by including their name where the first log took their name out – I further suspect that this log has been selectively and slightly edited to make Mackenzie look better. Some rolls removed and others left, for example.
It also includes spicy poses that I don’t think were in the first one, which can cause a lot of embarrassment for somebody to have their poses posted like that.
tl;dr: this is an attempt at revenge on the player in question. Macha is incredibly vindictive.

OK, update. I forced myself to read the text messages.
Can we stop doing auctions in RP? I know, they are easy RP. But I’m over them. (pls take my opinion very seriously, even though i don’t rp.)
And if you are going to do an auction, it comes off a little weird to auction basically-- yourself (ok your time but very slight difference) when other auction prizes seemed to be like, hey a drive in movie marathon for you and a friend! Etc.
It gives me Dwight from The Office vibes where his gift in the xmas episode was time spent learning paintball from hin.

Honestly the earmarks suggest this is Macha herself posting the log.
ETA - I don’t see any reason for the victim to post it in its entirety with such a title. Saying to ‘enjoy the reads’ has a tone to it that, to me, can only come from someone who wants the content out there, which generally isn’t the victim. Abusers aren’t against showing off their “trophies,” though. (HMM.) Secondly, this is deliberately posted in a separate thread so as to draw attention to it. Third, the new account as mentioned already.
Yeah, I’m fairly convinced this is Macha. I would be surprised if they’re not.

@IoleRae Assuming it was Macha or someone on her behalf, I think in addition to what you said, they were trying to show “see, this person wanted it/liked it!”. Trying to paint Macha in a good light and the other player in a bad light.

@dvoraen Honestly if it’s Macha I’m surprised she didn’t make more noise after being asked to edit the name out. I think it’s likely a minion. Either way though I have no interest trying to imagine what warped justification summersaults go on in her brain.
I do think it’s important to not give this thread anymore attention. Obviously everyone is an adult and can post how they want. I just don’t think Macha deserves anymore of the attention (whether this user is now her or not) than we’ve already given her concerning this topic and that she’s likely narcissistically been loving.

What’s mind-boggling to me is the idea that Macha looks even remotely better based on more log being shared. Frankly it just seems more apparent that this was an ongoing campaign or plan wherein she was fixated on this person who was engaging in good faith like all of her weird bullshit was actually all IC and they might be dealing with a normal rper under all of the weird subjunctive tense.

To Sock’s point, maybe we shouldn’t bring attention to the thread. If anything, make a new Thread about Macha Awareness?
Maybe we could piece together whom she’s been (and what damage she’s done on games) so people are aware? She’s been around the community a long time it sounds like, and I don’t even know all the games she’s been on and people affected.
At this point it’s not just one or two games. There’s interconnectedness between games, community, and underhanded attempts to manipulate Cobalt. I wonder what else has been done? With someone trying to manipulate people across different mu*'s I suppose a good way to get it out there is to talk about it.

@KarmaBum So I have the general gist of the musoapbox explosion without the behind the scenes context. I don’t remember Macha coming up much, most what I read was about the bannings and the admin choices. Was Macha really that involved? I saw the thing about baiting people by DM mentioned recently.
And you know, every player makes mistakes. Sometimes we overstep, or we put up with something longer than we should have. Sometimes players do change. Behave. Mature. We’re part of a community and yes we can watch people for a genuine change and if they do change - I’d say I’ve often been open to them.
But in order to change there has to be a genuine want to do so. There are some people who don’t, and genuinely seem to enjoy stryfe, chaos. Macha seems to be one of them. I do think that this person will continue to show up. Again and again. She doesn’t seem to be genuine, and if anything over time becomes craftier and more connected.
I guess what can you do about something like that? I’m not really sure myself.
