I realize how out of touch I am even on places I do participate on for brief periods of time. Hi it is me, Captain Oblivious.

I guess I should apologize to folks for when I took up the Vamp sphere for a short time. I went in after one guy (I can’t even think of his name) had just vanished and left no notes and left people with vague chatter about having a place for their concept in the metaplot. I found it a bit overwhelming to go in and try to get things situated and as I was also dealing with overtime (plus my normal work schedule sucks), I just felt like I couldn’t do the job and bounced. I think the sphere kinda closed for a bit after that and I feel bad about it.

They updated the Regiments of Renown document the same day the army box came out and the answer to that is sadly zero.

The army isn’t officially released yet, not until you can buy the battletome individually so I suspect they will update that document again in a month or so.

Not really anything about an actual game. I’ve just been laid up dealing with some health issues, and, for some reason, I find fighting with code relaxing. While I’ve been recovering, I wanted to see if I could do a web-based character generation and sheet for the Marvel Multiverse RPG in Ares. I’m pretty proud of it. It’s not 100% done but it’s in the final stretch, I think.

Not sure what, if anything, I’ll do with it. Just wanted to see if I could.

@somasatori so you could also set up clues using a skill like Academics or Occult? Could be neat for a cop sphere to have clues tied into Medicine for autopsy stuff too I guess. Sounds neat!

I will judge people for AI poses. Not gonna judge someone teaching themselves on how to do some shit. Coding is a motherfucker and anyone who tries it should be lauded. As for the game, I left early because a lot of RL stuff was destroying my will to do much and working 5am to 130pm Pacific sucks ass when people wanna do stuff at like 7pm Pacific lol.

Looking at the current state of reality, my tolerance for bullshit is at an all time low. At this point if I ran a game and someone spoke some right wing shit id ban them. I think a lot of issues have persisted because people have wanted to be nice or polite. Sometimes it’s just best for everyone to just move on without them.

Just rename the thread General WoD Rage or something. I feel like it will all end up being about the same stuff anyway.

Don’t know what I just spent an hour reading but it’s helped me deal with waking up at 330am and kill some time lol.

As more and more time passes and AI becomes more and more widespread all I can think is, “When do we declare our Butlerian Jihad?” Because I’m kinda over all this stuff already lol.

Apologies at the insane delay I don’t check this place daily. Anyway I liked the basic concept that Arx had of domains and I would enjoy seeing projects people in the house could work on to improve areas of their domain over time. I don’t know that I have any super specific things in mind off the top of my head right now.

Political systems this, intrigue systems that. Honestly I liked that Arx had some basic House development stuff. I would have liked to have seen it expanded and would like any L&L game to have something similar.

Anyway, someone let me know if a new game comes out! I am feeling some fantasy vibes as evidenced by these High Elf minis I’ve been slowly working on
