I miss this thread, so I’m recreating it:
What’s a game that you really want that doesn’t at the moment exist?
For me, there are so many, but a Lost/Mortal CoD 2nd Edition game would be a LOT of fun, especially if it leaned into the urban part of urban fantasy/horror, and made mortals equal protagonists to Lost, with their own stuff going on. Focus on the non-PC-splat monsters and weirdnesses for antagonists - God Machine, oneriophages, weird spirits and things that should not be. Horror and occult adventures over politicking.

I usually say “Wheel of Time,” but @Rucket is supposed to be working on that.
So Horror MUSH. A solid anthology game where I can get weird and croak every few months. \o/

I want a post apocalyptic game surrounding the events at one of the last settlements in the world struggling to survive against all manner of obstacles and threats.

I’ve been missing BSG lately, though I have no idea if this is just nostalgia. A good sci-fi game in general would scratch an itch.

The only way I can think of for this to MAYBE happen is you include a ‘throw everything you think you know about the lore out the window, that is not what we are doing here’ disclaimer, and even then, 50/50 chance that someone is going to play a werewolf who is racist against ever other supernatural because GAIA. Like… even most CoD games have a bunch of folks who think WtA is still valid for their personality.

@Jennkryst I would focus on one sphere and mortal. I feel that is the best way to tell narrative. I have two debates for spheres Mage OwoD or Hunter CofD. I think both lend themselves best for the long-term plot, due to the connection still to humanity.

I want a supernatural horror game of just normal people fighting against supernatural creatures. No powers, no magic, just normal people and scary monsters. Shotgun the plot for days!

Man, if I could do one thing, it would be to shake people until they stop treating CoD like it has the lore of WoD. I like CoD because it’s NOT old WoD!

I was thinking of doing a Tower of God based MU*. It’d be set in the Tower, with various plots having people form teams and taking the test from one floor to the other (if they’re regulars) or the politics of the 10 major families or going on adventures as a ranker.
But I don’t know if people read the manhwa or watched the anime
