Email confirmation is broken

Looks like the forum isn’t currently able to send email, tried to confirm my email address and all I got was a whole lotta this and no email:

oh fk i knew this broke in June when Google changed some stuff and put it off. Yeah, okay, looking into it.

Also, not sure if it’s related to the lack of email confirmation, but I can’t access the list of threads in the Advertisements forum either:
I can get to individual threads just fine, however, eg: https://brandmuday.mythicus.net/topic/125/the-network-where-we-provide-only-the-finest-in-programming

@sixregrets Yeah I actually documented that one over here. It’s weird because it’s ONLY the Advertisements board, none of the others.

I have a ticket in with a free server to host our email. Just waiting on them to activate our SMTP.

I canNOT find the option to turn off the OPTION to have email notifications for users – which is not often used – so until I do find that option, consider this my request that you please not use it.
We are a chatty crew. Email notifications on posts or threads you are watching can generate a lot of emails very swiftly.
SORRY. I AM CHEAP.

@Solstice Yeah. That’s how individual users can control their own notifications – but there is NO BUTTON that TURNS OFF their ability to get emails as well. C’MON!!!
