RE: Star Wars Age of Alliances: Hadrix and Cujoposted in Rough and Rowdy
I’m just throwing this out there and not addressing anyone.
On January 4th 2026 this thread had its 3rd birthday. ( Is there any other threads that keep getting dug up every couple of months like this one?) Since then dozens of folks (and a lot who if you’re paying attention don’t necessarily like each other) have laid a variety of mushing miss deeds from the mundane to egregious (gaslighting, Sex Pesting, and cheating) at Aoa’s feet. A good number of them have been confirmed by various sources. This thread is the oral history of Cujo and AOA.
So if you’re considering playing ( or staying) on AOA please note any of these things can and will probably happen to you. If not you are simply beneath the notice of one of the bad actors, until you’re not. Cujo doesn’t care and won’t help you. He doesn’t like you for the simple fact you play on his game.
Please find a different mu, rp outlet, or hobby to fill your time. Your mental health will thank you in the long run.
If you choose to play there, there’s a chance you will be posting here too. First to defend the place and in the end agreeing with us. Don’t join Aoa’s Oral history.

RE: Other Peopleposted in Game Gab
I’ve cycled out of mushing. The one thing I would do when running a scene was try to make sure everyone had a chance to shine. Let them show off or let them use the shiny toys. Did others do it better than me, yes. Did I get it right every time? No. I kept trying and hope it made people days.
( Also, I would read the upcoming events and try to come up with crazier and zanier events then the better GMs. Sure I was the ‘Direct to Video’ equivalent of a GM, but most of love direct to video even if we all admit it!)

RE: The 3-Month Playersposted in Game Gab
@Faraday Something else to consider with the Bubble talk is to consider what else is going on in the real world with the theme of the game. Successfully super hero movies can cause a bubble for a successful superhero game. A bad Star wars movie can hurt a star wars game. Some food for thought.

@MisterBoring Gaslands by Osprey Games is my tabletop dystopian future car race/battle game of choice. I have no idea for a mush.

@Jennkryst Battletech Lords and Ladies is as important as the mechs. Probably more so.

@Roadspike I would love a Battletech game. I missed out on the CBT simulator era.

@Jennkryst That’s a story I’d love to hear in another thread or location.

@Lemon-Fox Hey Lemon-Fox, I’m glad you’re having fun on a game. Enjoy yourself tell the stories you want for the people you want to tell. Remember it’s better to ask for forgiveness with Cujo than permission. Have thick skin and no cares you will be fine.
Just be ready for the first time you cross Banshee, Hadrix, or Aryn. The 'not earned it’s for your admiral bit was just a taste.
Banshee once changed the rules for a force power mid scene cause he couldn’t one shot my very powerful dino Jedi. It was infuriating and funny at the same time.
Oh and yes, I talked to Cujo several times. It was hardly ever a directly bad experience. But years of lip service with no real support coupled with finally seeing the light is why I walked.
Oh if you’re a female player or female presenting player, try getting away with being bossy. He’s afraid of you. You really have the same power as Aryn especially if you can generate rp.
The times Cujo got onto me was my ic love interest was not playing well with others. Cujo would talk to me to get her to behave cause he was scared of her.

@Jumpscare Is these stats for unique connections or total connections? It’s common on Aoa for players to have multiple alts. It might be there was a rush of alts.
There was an Exodus of around 20+ players a few years back started by this thread. So we’ll a lot of us are remembering our old days vs what’s there now.

RE: Star Wars Age of Alliances: Hadrix and Cujoposted in Rough and Rowdy
@Warlander Yeah… I would ignored this completely after a month, especially after giving it a try and it accomplished nothing. All I would have won was a headache from sad Banshee/Aryn/Hadrix noises and extra steps.
This sounds like a want to be table top war game and not a RPG.
That being said it’s all fine and maybe worked. Did they ever address the sex pest issues?

@SqeakyClean Taking Jax? Go for it. I want logs.

RE: Star Wars Age of Alliances: Hadrix and Cujoposted in Rough and Rowdy
Sometimes we forget that the start of this post was bringing to light the sexual harassment by some of the staff and allowed to happen by Cujo (or perhaps silently encouraged and observed by him if the accusations either in this thread or another location are true.)
I think the events you reference show it’s shows the disfunction and playing players/factions that Cujo and Banshee liked. It made people feel insecure and unsupported on all sides. Which allowed a breeding ground for the deeper problem to spread.
I’m quite sure if you were to talk to Kylo’s player and Oran’s player they would have similar feelings about the event. I’m just guessing but as people were oocly played against one another never knowing their standings with staff. I once encountered a player on another mush that mentioned they didn’t stay on AoA cause Merek was hot shit and how could they compare to him? I think the player had issued with him on another game.
It’s almost like we (the player base) was their own little Sith Academy. They ignored us, until they didn’t to hand out random brutal punishment, or to randomly favor one us for no reason at all. It breed competition, It isolated, and left us to fend for ourselves. If that’s not how you get Sith, then I don’t know what else would do it.

RE: Numetal/Retromuxposted in Rough and Rowdy
@Pacha said in Numetal/Retromux:
Whoever this supposedly “fine” head staffer is, it seems like they are fine hiring some pretty questionable staff, as long as the leopards aren’t (yet) eating their face.
Right! The head staffer/owner of the game sets the culture of the game. If they’re a sex pest than chances are they will hire staffers that are sex pests or let sex pests get away with stuff on their games.

@Warlander Ha, ha,ha, ha!
For anyone who wants it, Jax’s password is jedi. His +sheet was super good. I salted the Earth and burnt bridges on the way out, So good luck with that. If anybody tries I want logs. I’ll be watching cat videos.

@Warlander Cujo going to Cujo. Banshee got to Banshee. Hadrix is sexual harassing a couch. Aryn got to be the prettiest and most special. Everyone else are just NPCs.
Gawd @ashkuri and @Hobbie could build and run a better sw game if they it built out of the old Elendor database. Then for theme only read an issue of a Star Wars comic, saw half of Acolyte, and @Zephyr explain the Ewok movies to them with sock puppets.
"Note* Nothing wrong with Elendor, It’s just was Lord of the Rings.
