I have a character who runs a bar, and I agreed to it (three characters in total donated to get the place up and running) simply because it has a lot of potential to generate RP.

Yeah, it can get out of hand, and what do you do when everyone on grid tries to show up?

But so far, it’s been a positive experience.

@bear_necessities Well, if one says they are sorry it didn’t work out, this leads me to believe that it did not end as intended. Maybe not a failure if people had fun, made memories and maybe out of game friends.

But if it failed, it doesn’t mean it was a bad thing.

@Testament Better to have tried and failed, than to never have tried at all. My last attempt was a mud, and it exploded unexpectedly. You’re still out there trying, which is more than a bunch of us can say.

@Cobalt I have told some that it’s okay to go have a good cry. Get it all out. They’ll feel better. And if they aren’t feeling better afterwards, perhaps they should reconsider playing on that particular text-based game.
