This is my omnipresent issue whenever someone starts shit and falls back on I DIDN’T NAME NAMES!!! The vast majority of the time it’s really easy to tell who someone’s talking about, or inferred, and it doesn’t seem to really do anything except make the person ‘not being named’ unable to argue back (though that’s been solved here lol).

The consensus seems to be that we don’t want to alert people to potential threats, without naming names, because the person committing the offenses might get their feelings hurt when the investigation wraps up.

This is utter nonsense. You titled the thread what you did, and you were talking about a person. Even if they (stop misgendering them, PLEASE, it’s ALWAYS inappropriate no matter what the person did) hadn’t spoken up, people would have put it together. Easily.

for what it’s worth, which isn’t that much, my limited interaction with Lithium was that they were enthusiastic and helpful and that most of the people I’m friendly with there spoke well of them until suddenly people thought they were DWOPP
