Yeah. Gonna call BS on this. Cujo has known Rey’s player for a long, long (like well over 15 years by this point) time. He went so far as to tell ME when I was on staff that he was bringing her on as Rey from outside of the game because of how well he knew her. There is absolutely no way he doesn’t know how she behaves, and also this is far, faaaar from the first time that he’s driven off other people in response to Rey being upset about something.
This is what he does though. He outright lies about things to try and smooth it over, so you think well maybe I’m wrong to be as upset as I was. You’re not. He is manipulating you because the ONLY thing that matters to him is that he keeps the numbers up on the game. He is placating you to try and do that. That is all.

Okay at this point I need to ask that people actually post new episodes of drama I want to read instead of turning on the reruns.
(I’m being sardonic and not serious about actually not posting in this thread. I just want something to sink my teeth into.)

For some reason known only to Cujo and his cabal, every page on the wiki is now hidden behind a login screen. This includes the page with the connection information on the game.
Nothing makes people want to make a character on your game more than having to have a make an account on a separate website first just to find out how to connect to the game!

My guess would be control. He has always hated the fact that people who oppose him can still see what’s happening on his game, so this is just more effort to lock it down. They just don’t have competent enough people to make that happen in a workable way, they ran all of the competent people off.

If that place weren’t such a s-show with all the issues, most of it on the staff’s end, it would be tempting. Been wanting to get in on an active SW place for ages, but the drama and cliques of that place…

@Hobbie Agreed. DSS is a dodgy system at best, and the way AoA runs it (with its 200+ skills that need to be at 80 or above to be considered competent, dozens of language skills that need to be at 100 to understand what’s said in the language, total lack of transparency, ability to rig the dice to roll low to screw over players you don’t like, downright broken healing systems, glitchy space grid, etc., etc., etc.) is much, much dodgier. Especially when you consider that the effort to expand the stats gulf between newbies and dinosaurs is ENTIRELY deliberate.
Its own creator abandoned it for SW D20 SAGA Edition… and if you ditch a system for something as horrible as SW D20, it’s GOT to be bad.
If it could be broken down to base DSS, with an unbloated skills list, a language system worth a darn instead of one that eats up dozens of skill points, and all new and better systems to do what it currently does, it might be worth it. But the present DSS used on AoA is a disaster that just needs to be scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up.
