@sao Same. Ever since I first saw him in Rome, anything I saw he had a role in was a watch for me even if I didn’t have high expectations. He just brought so much earnest energy to his performances and it made him a pleasure to watch in everything. While I remember him most for Titus Pullo, he also gave us my favorite Blackbeard in Black Sails.

Passed away recently. Apparently he was very supportive of agricultural matters in his area and something of a rockstar in the larger farming world when it came soil health and soil science.
