If you are a prodigal, you had to accept the Faith of the Pantheon in order to bend the knee, it was a condition of you and your people not getting brutally killed.

That means that publicly professing that you don’t understand the religion is probably not a great idea politically since it’s the only thing separating you from being a dirty shav.

SIGH.

This is why whenever religion comes up I make a point of going ‘CHARACTER does things proper-like, as a Theology 5 person would do, PLAYER is dumb and knows nothing!’ and also spend like half an hour digging through the lore sections on faith between poses, lest I accidentally mix up one god or another.

I look forward to checking it out. Faith is generally the least interesting topic for me IRL, so there was an auto-immune response to sifting through so much of it on Arx.

I’ve avoided doing it wrong by engaging with it as little as possible, and that’s not really my preference!

It’s a thing like “you’ve seen someone do blood magic so you know it’s real.”

So tbh I don’t know if it’s even shareable, because it SHOULDN’T be shareable, it looks like it was just a thing that feels very much like Alpha/Early Beta Arx where this sort of exposure came about a lot more slowly. But at this point, a lot of PCs could probably have it. I think I just learned what it was one day and was like “hey that applies to my PC can I have it” and they were just like “oh sure.”

@Rowan I know I plan to do some stuff during daytime hours on the weekends. We have staff from different time zones so there should be ways to accommodate.
