I had an injury last year and was sidelined by debilitating back pain for almost 10 months. I think I’m a tough customer, but back pain humbles everyone. After a lot of time spent depressed and listless because I couldn’t walk, sit, stand, or lay comfortably for longer than half an hour and a lot of physical therapy, I’m pain free now.

I want people to feel welcome, but I don’t want to engage because I’m tired as fuck or distracted as hell. I’m happy to see you. I just need a nap and four more hours in the day.

bracing as I ask this, but why was someone called the cheese log guy?

I don’t know if it’s fully fair to judge someone forever for who they were in the past, but that being said, I was on a game with them a few years ago and the behavior described in these older and linked threads is still going strong.

Spider is an intelligent person. They’re self-aware. They know they have these issues. They’re apologetic and explanatory about them. But it doesn’t seem to stop the issues from cropping up, so I eventually politely severed ties and went on my way.
