I’d like to start by introducing your forum administrators:
The forum is currently being run on a server that I (Tez) have set up. While Glitch is not a forum administrator, he did help with setting up the board. As such, he does have server access as well. He turned down the offer to serve as administrator, as did Third Eye. They are both smarter than us.
We would prefer to have a hands off approach. Thus, we ask you to please respect the tone of the various boards. Namely, please don’t be a jerk outside of ‘Rough and Rowdy’. Also, we don’t have a politics board for a reason. Please don’t make a politics thread.
All permanent bans will be done with a unanimous vote of active administrators. However, if we feel the need, each admin is empowered to issue temporary cool off bans for a period of no more than 24 hours, as well as temporarily locking the thread. We will always explain why we are doing this.
Actions which may lead to a permanent ban include:
- Racist, sexist, ableist, general-ist language
- Repeated and egregious crossing of the asshole/troll line such that it makes the board an unpleasant place to be.

Belatedly noting that I finally updated this to remove @tsar from the list of forum admin to avoid confusion as Tsar left admin in July of 2022 after helping us stand up.

In order to attempt to mitigate sock puppets and other alternate account shenanigans, we’ve changed a setting to require admin approval of new accounts where the IP address matches an extant account.
Hopefully this won’t impact 99.999% of users, but we wanted to let you all know just the same.
