Juerg. That name sounds familiar. Was that the cheese log guy?
The cheeselog guy was known as Decius on old school Metro back in the day. Why do I remember this?
Why?

bracing as I ask this, but why was someone called the cheese log guy?

Welp.
So there was a guy back in the day who had this “serial daddy dom” persona who he played across several games which I could not recall a list of. I encountered him as Decius on Metro back in, say, 1998 or so when I was young and fresh-faced.
I recall this particular character was a Technocracy Void Engineer who had a habit of arranging sexual relationships on the game, often across opposing PVP faction lines (which he’d also leverage IC’ly to “win” in conflict scenarios –
The worst part to all this was he did successfully gain IC intelligence on a bunch of different people in the grid that he did exploit). Anyway I won’t go into the dirty details beyond the fact that supposedly in at least one scenario, a cheese log was used as an adult toy in a scene. This had no effect on Hickory Farms’ stock value.

@SpaceKhomeini At least it wasn’t publicly posted to a wiki like the *** scene or the wine bottle fucking scene (both from HM).
Spoiler tag doesn’t seem to be working…. Um. A graphic SA scene involving a force multiplier.

Hey it was 1998, those posted logs would have looked like ass on somebody’s Geocities page.

@STD Isn’t that standard for Void Engineers, though?

I’m just upset that now I can’t ever talk about loving cheese without people thinking that I love cheese.

Not quite the cheese log I was looking for, but eh, close enough.
