Meanwhile, what’s in the “recent posts” and in the “categories” don’t match up for me. Categories doesn’t seem to be showing anything more recent than, uhh… last May?

I’m gonna give you advice I’ve stolen from other, wiser heads:
try logging in on an incognito screen
if that works, you need to clear your cache -

if that works, you need to clear your cacheThat, however, did work for me. Logging in from Edge instead of Chrome does show it. Time to muck out the caches.
Edit: Nope. Emptied caches, still only works on Edge. Oh well.

Try a hard refresh on your browsers, this happens to me on Ares always the time. Hard refreshing usually fixes it.

I figured it out in my case. Apparently, somehow one of my settings got flipped so things were sorting oldest to newest.
Granted, I don’t know how that setting in all the categories got flipped (it was literally all of them and I didn’t change anything in my account), but. Easy fix once I realized what had actually happened.

Another odd glitch, but quickly fixed with a refresh of the page.
Couldn’t post on the cats thread with a box appearing at the side saying “Forbidden”.
No idea why, refresh fixed it though.

No such luck, alas. It’s not a big deal since it’s just one thread but it does annoy me that I don’t know why.
This is going to sound really stupid, but it is step one in my RL job-- have you fully shut down and then rebooted your computer?

I too have worked in computer customer support. XD
Yes, yes, I have. I shut it down completely every night so it’s been done several times since the glitch first started.

Did it work in incognito? If it worked in incognito but not after clearing your cache, my next guess would be an extension conflict.

@Floof … Yes. Yes, it does. You’re probably right. This has to be on my end, then. Thank you for spotting that. Time to see if any of my extensions are the issue.
