Macha Awareness (And Unappreciation) thread

I’m kind of curious if other game runners have run into the issue that we ran into with her 10 years ago, where she was trying to push for her character to be SA’d in a scene by GM NPCs and pushed to put her character in sexually vulnerable positions in ways that made GMers uncomfy. We had to tell her it won’t happen, won’t ever happen, knock it off.

I know I mentioned “revisionist history” with her, but I just want to make it clear that my memory of her during my time staffing on XMM wasn’t that she would edit logs. She would just continually have her character react to things as if it was a different reality where they’d done nothing wrong. It felt more like gaslighting.

Counting down to when Macha makes a thread on MSB about how she’s being dragged in her own thread here and claiming it as ‘harassment’.

I’ll add that Macha is currently crap-talking people via discord. I’m not sure in what kind of numbers. Likely anyone who will listen?
She certainly has some known associates she often visits games with.
Does anyone know of other games she was banned on? I doubt the list is complete with just The Pack and Infinite Adventures? It might help people connect the dots if they knew who she was where/when.

@CuriousGamer We banned her on SR, but only quietly. She hung around a minute, couldn’t catch a dick, and left, so we banned her IP.
I only really knew her on Horror 2 - where she was just real fixated on @Floof’s character. And would constantly whine on the public channel about like how she’s super sick but also drunk-inner-tubing and something about her uncle giving her booze when she was five.
Basically just put all her whiniest MSB posts about her shitty life onto the chat channel, nonstop all day everyday, and that’s how I remember her.

But, to detail the ‘played some part in the MSB/BMD split’, because I think it’s a lot slimier than it comes off with that phrasing:
Macha engaged in PMs with someone, said something contentious AND ‘please don’t talk to me about this anymore’.The person she PMd responded to the contentious thing, and then was like ok I won’t. Macha reported this as harrassment/PMing her after she asked someone to stop.
If I tell someone ‘fuck you and your mom’s a ho, also never talk talk to me again’ and they respond with ‘my mom’s a nice lady’, I don’t get to claim they are harrassing me.
The person she PMd was summarily banned from the board, which is what caused the backlash that led to a LOT of people getting banned. Oh, but the original ban of Macha’s victim was reversed.

@hellfrog No she does more than trash talk people on Discord. She creates Discord groups with a Burn Book a la Mean Girls vibe. It starts out as a ‘Oh hey a nice chat group because we’re all on a game or all friends’ and turns into you awkwardly watching her shit on, slut shame and bitch about other people because they dare to not worship her.
Then when you don’t join in or dare to stick up for someone because they’re your friend too she lashes out until you leave the group and block her.
She has major Queen Bee energy. Even Regina George is more likeable.

As far in game experiences, I hooked a char of mine with hers on a previous game because she didn’t seem crazy. In a later game she got upset a char I apped wasn’t ‘right’ for her char. Proceeded to passive aggressively hint at wanting me to make a character for hers because she “missed the connection we shared”.
Didn’t budge. When my char flirted with another char at (my mistake) a business her char owned, when she was not present, she complained to staff and directly paged me how her char would always know what happened in her business even if she wasn’t on game because “It’s her property” and tried to say how her char was going to find mine to bitch at him. Didn’t ask for a scene. Didn’t even ask me. Just said it was happening.
This was after throwing said char after mine in other scenes on game. I turned her down each time. Her whole thing was “The widow who secretly was a virgin and wanted to learn to make love” and it was weird.
I just avoided her at that point. No scenes and no Discord. She proceeded to start a smear campaign and rage to anyone who would listen.

wait, so this was the second char you made that wasn’t right for hers and thus had no connection to hers??

The second game is where I apped, we realized who each other were and I thought it was a fun reconnection. Then, she said my apped char wasn’t ‘right’ for hers but still ended up trying to get with him anyways. That’s when the harassing behavior started.

@KarmaBum Well also the character was a male escort. So he didn’t feel like he was the right person to help her with that. He’s like “You need someone who will appreciate that and who you don’t have to pay” but I think her whole approach was eventually him realizing he loved her? Or maybe her just becoming creepy attached to him. After the fact someone warned me she had an rp partner who was on game too and they constantly did jealousy style arcs. So definitely glad I noped out of that one.

I’m probably being paranoid, but now I’m wondering if someone who I’ve been I just started RPing with off and on a game I play on(not the one I run, mind)should be giving me red flags or not. Because they came on strong out of nowhere. And after reading this I’m like ‘okay what should I be watching out for’.
I’m probably reading too much into it, but I suppose now I’m a bit more aware.

She might have seemed fine because she was getting what she wanted at that time in the previous relationship/game.
