I just finished ep 1 before work. I’m blown away by this! This is one of my favorite comics of all time. I own the leather bounded editions. I have been not even low-key obsessed with sandman since I was 11 years old and got the dollhouse graphic out of my school library.

This is perfect so far. Loving some of the changes to the first ep! It makes the show flow better as a visual medium.

Trying not to spoil anything!

@BloodAngel Neil Gaiman has been involved in 100% of this process and wrote most of the scripts, I believe. It’s not every day that you get an author that’s allowed to also write the screen plays scripts.

@crawfish The comics never really moved me much. I enjoyed their literary skill but wasn’t invested in the characters.

@BloodAngel 24/7 is the WORST EPISODE EVER because I know I recognize who plays Judy but nothing on the internet says who and I BLAME THE SHOW FOR THIS

(I haven’t gotten around to Googling the names of each of the credited actors yet. I’ll figure it out.)

That issue changed my life. It was the first time I read something in horror that truly gut-punched me. The show once again did the same!

My husband came home from work for his lunch shortly after I watched the second episode. And because I didn’t want to share spoilers with him, as I knew he was going to watch it as soon as he finished his shift, the only way I could explain to Insomniac what was wrong and why I was crying at my laptop was by announcing “Morpheus and I are having an argument. We are not friends right now.”

I watched that episode right before going to the gym, so I had to explain to my trainer he wasn’t pushing me too hard, just a cartoon dream wizard broke my heart.
