There was a couple as staff. A male. A female. Then there was another male on staff. That one was played by the female.
This female also staffed another game and lied about her entire life to them, etc. It was a thing. It was a million years ago and so drama filled I just don’t even have words.

I mean, I am completely aware of how fucked and manipulative this was, but I cannot stop laughing about it because it’s also just so dumb. What was even the point? Like just to maintain the illusion of fairness? It makes me think of those comedy routines where someone behind a counter ducks down or goes in the back and comes out wearing a different hat or a fake moustache and claiming to be the manager or something.
Especially because pretty frequently the shittier people in this hobby just aren’t as clever as they think they are by half and there’s almost always something that gives them away, and then their bullshit is forever immortalized, like these dinks as “that fucking insane couple that pretended to be three people.”

@Wizz There was something weird like that going on at SI. Like there were two women, a dude, and another woman and iirc the third woman wasn’t real or something. They would use it as a tool to place blame.
They also straight up would tell you that you’re causing issues and giving one of the women a heart attack and literally killing her because you wouldn’t let her character do something, so they were pretty awful.
So the fake person is a pretty good scapegoat, I guess that’s why they do it.

@Testament why are you terrible

I laughed when I read this but in a startled and very WTF way
-
@tsar They would call me on the phone and make me cry. It was insane.

WHAT?! NO.
I’ve developed rules over the years that if RP games or the people on them make me cry, good bye.

Yeah, yeah, the drama heart attack, we’'ve all seen it.
