The Inherent Heresy of the Cubrule
-
@Testament It looks like it’s meant to be a calzone contained within a salad.
-
@Jennkryst i’d definitely disagree with calzone in a salad! if anything, toast in a salad. because the starch is on the bottom.
-
@Meg I mean, the picture has a fully opaque cube (calzone), contained within a larger transparent cube (salad).
-
@Jennkryst yeah, but the depiction is wrong by their own definition. See: muffins are toast.
Nachos should be depicted as one side (toast), contained within larger transparent cube (salad).
Unless it is truly a calzone, which seems like a separate category??? raviolis, for example, would be calzone in salad.
-
@Meg If it was calzone, wouldn’t it need to be indicated via some kind of top layer? Like a whole pie is a calzone, but a piece is considered toast.
-
@Testament idk what you mean.
We’re referring to the site you linked. If you go down to the depiction of ‘nacho’ and examples of nachoes.
the depiction of is a small calzone, in a salad depiction.
but the examples they list of nachoes, including nachoes themselves, i would argue are ‘toast’ based on the website’s definition.
-
@Meg LOGS OR GTFO
-
@Meg I read that wrong, I thought you were implying nachos were calzones. My bad.
-
@Snackness oh ok, here:
clearly, the website is wrong so the whole thing must be thrown away.
they went against their own definitions.
and i brought the logs/receipts.
-
@Meg I am satisfied, and also feel a little bit bad that you actually put in the work for that.
-
@Snackness i was sitting in a meeting as my coworker sets up a db connection
-
This ‘debate’ slots right into a recurring incident with my husband, wherein he enters the kitchen and I ask, “Are you having a sandwich?” and he answers, “No, I’m just having some meat and cheese on bread…”
-
@eye8urcake Well, he’s not wrong.
He’s just,
-
@Testament I’m not too proud to admit that every time it happens, I only stfu once he concedes this point.
Then I apologize for being such a snot but…
