      Another idea would be to harken back to the 1980s video game scene and include/manufacture the so-called “feelies”—an in character news letter, an actually written (or typed, but with a fancy font) letter from a contact, or similar. Less interactive, but still a neat little novelty that some folks in the TTRPG space use quite effectively.

      I can actually understand that. Mythical critters shouldn’t be treated cruelly any more than actual critters, There needs to be more ‘shoo’ options in video games for that kind of thing.
